Refund Policy

We're a small, client-focused creative agency. If something isn't right, we'd always rather talk it through first. Reach out to us before assuming a refund isn't possible, we're reasonable people.

Our general stance

Creative work is time and effort intensive. Once our team begins production on your project — whether that's scripting, shooting, editing, or designing — that time cannot be recovered. For that reason, completed and delivered creative work is non-refundable.

That said, we don't believe in keeping money for work that hasn't been done. The policies below reflect that balance.

Retainer clients

If you are on a monthly retainer with Neptune Advertising:

  • Your retainer fee covers the agreed scope of work for that billing period and is non-refundable once work for that period has commenced.

  • If you cancel your retainer with 30 or more days written notice, you will receive a pro-rated refund for any portion of the upcoming billing period during which no work was performed or initiated.

  • Cancellations made with less than 30 days notice will not be eligible for a refund on the current billing period.

Project-based clients

If you have engaged Neptune Advertising for a one-time or fixed-scope project:

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin work. This deposit is non-refundable once production has started.

  • If you cancel the project after the deposit has been paid but before final delivery, Neptune Advertising will retain a portion of fees proportional to the work completed at the time of cancellation.

  • Any remaining balance beyond work completed will be returned to you within 14 business days of the cancellation date.

When refunds are not available

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Work has been fully delivered and approved by the client

  • The project was delayed or stalled due to the client's failure to provide assets, feedback, or approvals in a timely manner

  • Dissatisfaction with advertising performance or results — we produce creative assets, not guaranteed outcomes, and ad performance depends on many factors outside our control

  • A change of mind after production has begun

Disputes & exceptions

We handle every situation individually. If you feel there has been a genuine error on our part, missed deliverables, work that doesn't match the agreed brief, or a failure to deliver within the agreed timeline, please contact us directly. We will review the situation in good faith and work toward a fair resolution, which may include a partial refund, additional revisions, or credit toward future work.

How to request a refund

To initiate a refund request, please contact us in writing at the email below. Include your name, company, the nature of your engagement, and a brief description of your request. We will respond within 5 business days.
